The Club is run on a voluntary basis with no paid employees. There are many risks associated with running a Swimming Club, and the attached documents act as a reference for all club members, and are designed to underpin the Club’s operations. Guidance on the interpretation of these documents is available from the Club’s officials. The arrangements we have in place follow models set out by the ASA.

Torquay Leander Swimming Club Child Protection Policy

The Swimming Club takes its responsibilities under Child Protection extremely seriously and follows the ASA policy laid down in the Annual Handbook.

To this end all officers working with young people either within a group setting or individually will be registered on the ASA Child Protection Register and will have had a CRB check undertaken.
